 A lot of bicycles are being stolen these days in the Barrie area. If you've invested in your bicycle and it makes you smile,
than you need to invest in a good lock. Make sure the lock goes through both wheels and the frame when securing it.
Remember to remove the seat and seatpost as well if it's secured with a quick release lever and take it with you.
All locks are only deterrents and the better locks make theives look elsewhere. Garage doors must be kept closed when not in use.
I see way too many garage doors open with bikes inside and no one to be seenand that's how most of them go missing.

Own a bicycle with disc brakes? Not stopping like they used to?
The pads may be contaminated and need replacement, the brake pads may be worn out,
or it could be time to bleed your disc brakes. Bleeding brakes involves replacing the old contaminated fluid with new brake fluid free of air bubbles.
The old fluid will have a higher moisture content and cannot perform as well
as new brake fluid. At this time the pistons should be lubed using a small amount of the appropriate brake fluid and pushed back to allow for optimal performance.

After cleaning your chain, remember to let the chain air
dry or use a clean absorbent cloth to dry the chain before
using a bicycle specific chain lube. Make sure lube is applied
on every chain link where it pivots.
Let it penetrate for a minute and spin the crankset several times to help.
Wipe off any excess lube so it does not attract more dirt that makes your drivetrain grimey.
